A little about the wanderer lady photographer

Hello, I am Bindu, an artistically driven freelance photographer, rooted in the vibrant city of Derby. I am DBS verified and travel significant distances to capture nature, architecture and family candids.

Stepping into the art

The pleasure of discovering photography happened during my teenage years when I had the opportunity to use my father's camera. I quickly became indulged in this hobby and volunteered to photograph family and friends. Documenting places of travel, buildings, people's expressions and memorable family excursions through the lens of my camera and this was the beginning of a very beautiful journey.

I must admit that after exiting corporate work life I found my way straight into the woods, roaming with lens tangled in my hair, collecting freckles or going on the muddy floor for that precious little capture. With time, I realised that the little things, everything mundane, I found fulfilling to capture. My admiration for all things vibrant, silently co-existing, from the skies above to the earth upon which we tread gave rise to the name "Rainbowdust”.
